Dining at the Hibiscus Cafe - Iguana

Medium
Painting - Batik On Silk
Description
The iguana I've seen in Manzanillo, Mexico were always munching on hibisus flowers. I've seen them on the back jungle roads, among the rocks at the Las Hadas Marina and even in the swimming pool at Vida del Mar. Naturally inspired by these cool creatures, I captured this one on silk using the method of batik. Offered here as an original batik on silk and also paper and giclee prints with a vast selection of framing options!

I like this batik a lot. You've created beautiful texture and color in it. We like to go to Manzanillo too and have seen lots of these critters there.

I just reviewed your post. Thank you for your favorable comment! Have you been to the IGUANARIO near downtown Manzanaillo? Great place to view 100's of iguanas and hold them too! They ask for donations.
